Docura Reader (“Docura”, “we”) is an offline document reader for Android. This page explains how the app handles your information.
Docura lets you import documents into a library stored on your device so you can read them without an internet connection.
Docura does not require an account and does not collect personal information. We do not run analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting services in the app. The release build does not request the INTERNET permission.
When you import or open a file, Docura copies it into app storage on your phone. Those copies stay on the device. They are not uploaded to us or to any third-party server. You can remove a file from the Docura library at any time. Removing it from Docura does not delete the original file elsewhere on your device.
On older Android versions, Docura may request permission to read shared storage so you can pick files. On current Android versions, you grant access to specific files through the system file picker. Docura does not browse your storage in the background.
Reading does not need a network. The app is designed to work fully offline and does not send your documents over the internet.
Docura is a general document reader and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect information from children.
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
